About

Amit Abha

Amit is a multidisciplinary artist whose creative journey began in the world of filmmaking, where he wrote, directed, and produced feature films, often building the visual universe himself through set design and lighting. While he trained as a physician, Amit always spent time in the visual arts, and has a keen instinct for storytelling.  He also spent time collaborating on Film Scoring with Bass Player of Scorpions, Ralph Rieckermann, winning the 2009 Park City Film Festival Award for Best Film Score.  Painting became a natural extension of his desire to explore meaning, emotion, and form. His work often fuses structural discipline with expressive freedom, creating a visual language that bridges art, science, and life.  His special interests are impressionist, geometric/art deco and cubism art styles. Impressionist and cubist artwork allows him to explore different subjects more creatively and freeform, while the geometric/art deco art styles allow him to explore subjects in a more precise, geometric, and symmetrical forms.

Amit now dedicates his time on creating original artworks that reflect his lifelong fascination with nature and human experience.
